A Free Look at the Air in Your House

The dust is back two days after you cleaned. The house smells stale, or the air feels off once smoke season ends. Before you buy a purifier, find out what is going on. Our Riverside office offers a free indoor air quality assessment of your ductwork, filtration and humidity. It is not air quality testing in a lab, and we say so up front. Here is what it covers, what it leaves out and what comes next.

What the Visit Looks Like

Three parts, in this order, and none of them is a sales script.

Whole Home Check

We look at ductwork, filtration and humidity, the three things your HVAC system controls.

Custom Recommendation

You get options matched to what we found, not a one size fits all upsell.

Install and Verify

If you go ahead, we install the equipment and then verify that it works.

Air quality testing can mean two different things. One is a walk through, where a technician looks at your filter, ducts, humidity and equipment. The other is measuring, with instruments or samples sent to a lab. Our free assessment is the first kind. Lab testing is not automatically part of it.

Before you book, call and confirm the scope. If you want sampling or lab results, ask first so there are no surprises on the day.

Know What You Are Buying Before You Book

A free assessment tells you what your system and your house are doing. It does not diagnose illness and it cannot promise results. Ask what is included, then decide.

What the Free Assessment Looks At

A technician looks at the three things your HVAC system controls: ductwork, filtration and humidity. That means checking the filter and how it fits, looking for leaks or crushed sections in the ducts we can reach, and noting whether the air runs too dry or too damp. Those findings point to the next step, which might be duct repair and sealing, a better filter, or nothing at all.

What Lab Testing Would Add, and What We Skip

A lab test measures one specific thing, such as mold spores or particle counts, from a sample or an instrument reading. Our assessment does not automatically include that. It cannot diagnose a medical condition, and it is no substitute for a working carbon monoxide alarm. If one sounds or you smell gas, get everyone out and phone 911 or the gas utility. Our indoor air quality page shows where testing fits.

After the Assessment, What Happens

You get a custom recommendation, and it can be short. Dust after Santa Ana wind days may point to leaky ducts or a poor filter. Smoke season may call for a BioGuard powered filter or a whole house air purifier. Any equipment we install is checked afterward to confirm it works. We do not promise symptom relief, because no honest installer can.

A Straight Answer About Scope

We would rather you know the limits than buy the wrong thing. A free visit should be held to the same standard as a paid job, so we keep it honest and specific.

  • Free assessment. Ducts, filtration and humidity, looked at in person.
  • No automatic lab testing. Confirm the scope before you book.
  • Verified work. Anything we install is checked before we leave.

We visit homes from Corona to Coachella, including Hemet, Temecula, Menifee and Palm Springs.

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer a free indoor air quality assessment that looks at ductwork, filtration and humidity. It does not automatically include lab testing, so confirm the scope with us before booking at (951) 574-1698. If you want sampling or lab results, ask first and we will tell you plainly what is and is not offered.

It is a whole home check of your ductwork, filtration and humidity, followed by a custom recommendation. If you choose equipment, installation is followed by verification that it works. For the bigger picture, see our indoor air quality overview.

Yes, the assessment itself is free. You pay only for equipment or repairs you choose afterward, and any installation gets a written quote once we have seen the house. Freedom Plan members also get 10 percent off indoor air quality products.

A typical electric air conditioner burns no fuel, so it does not make CO2 at the unit itself. Indoor CO2 mostly comes from people breathing, and a stuffy room usually means too little fresh air. Gas appliances should vent their combustion gases outdoors. See fresh air ventilation if the house feels stale.

We cannot give you an honest figure, because it depends on how your electricity is generated and how long the unit runs. At the unit itself, an electric AC emits no CO2. Any emissions happen upstream, at the power plant, and they vary with your utility's mix of sources.

Consider it when you have a specific question a walk through cannot answer, such as a suspected mold source or a persistent odor you cannot trace. For general dust, stale air or smoke season, the free assessment is usually the right first step. Confirm what we offer before you book.

Often it points toward the cause. Leaky or disconnected ducts, a filter that does not seat well and Santa Ana wind dust are common culprits, and a technician can check the first two. No assessment can promise a dust free home, and cleaning habits matter too.

Get everyone out of the house and phone 911 or the gas utility right away. Do not wait for an assessment, and do not rely on a filter or purifier for that hazard. Once everyone is safe and the source is dealt with, call us about the HVAC system.
