Not sure which tune up fits your house? Call (951) 574-1698 and we will point you to the right visit.
Your air conditioner works for months, and then your furnace gets one cold week to prove itself. Neither one warns you before it quits. HVAC maintenance is the cheap way out: one planned visit per season, with a technician who tells you what your parts are doing. A Freedom tune up is $149 for either system. The $179 Super Tune-Up covers the AC, the furnace, a ductwork inspection and a new filter. Want it on autopilot? Meet the Freedom Plan.
Three ways to care for the whole system, from a single tune up to a yearly plan.
Freedom Tune Up, $149
A complete AC tune up or a complete heating tune up, whichever season is next.
Super Tune-Up, $179
AC tune up, furnace tune up, ductwork inspection and a new filter in one visit.
Freedom Plan
Two visits a year, a guaranteed 2 hour arrival window and 10 percent off HVAC repairs.
An HVAC tune up is a checklist, not a sales pitch. Members get a 26 point check on the AC in summer and an 18 point check on the furnace in winter. Whatever visit you choose, you hear what was found and what can wait.
Small things fail first. A weak capacitor or a clogged filter costs little to fix in March and a lot to fix in the middle of a heat wave.
Most Riverside County homes lean on cooling for months and heating for a few cold weeks. The furnace that worked last February is the one nobody thinks about until it is cold again.
Before the first long hot stretch, the outdoor unit, electrical connections, airflow and refrigerant side of the system deserve a look. Dust and Santa Ana wind season leave their mark on coils and filters. Our Freedom AC tune up is $149, and the full story is on our AC maintenance page. It is far easier to book a visit in April than to wait out a repair in July.
Most of the county has mild winters, so a furnace can sit unused for months and then run hard on the first cold night. Nights in the San Gorgonio Pass, the foothills and the mountains run colder still. A complete heating tune up is $149, covered on our furnace maintenance page. If a visit turns up a real fault, HVAC repair is the next step.
Between tune ups, check the filter and watch for weak airflow in a room or a musty smell. Ducts in a hot attic can leak, so an hvac inspection of the ductwork is part of the Super Tune-Up. Hvac duct cleaning is a different job, and we recommend it only when an inspection finds a reason. See our air duct cleaning page for how we decide.
One customer wrote, “I highly recommend Ameriwest for any sales or service needs.” We hold ourselves to that on a tune up as much as on an install.
It is a scheduled visit where a technician inspects, cleans and tests your heating and cooling equipment before something fails. It is hvac preventative maintenance: catching worn parts, dirty components and weak airflow early. AmeriWest offers $149 seasonal tune ups, a $179 Super Tune-Up and the Freedom Plan.
The technician checks the parts that wear first, such as electrical connections, the capacitor, airflow and refrigerant, then tests the system and tells you what was found. On the Freedom Plan that means a 26 point AC tune up in summer and an 18 point furnace tune up in winter.
A Freedom AC tune up or a Freedom heating tune up is $149 each. The Super Tune-Up is $179 and includes an AC tune up, a furnace tune up, a ductwork inspection and filter replacement. The Freedom Plan price is not published, so ask us about it directly.
The $149 Freedom tune up covers one system, either the AC or the heating. The $179 Super Tune-Up covers both, and adds a ductwork inspection and a filter replacement. If you want the whole house looked at in a single visit, the Super Tune-Up is the better fit.
Most homes do well with two visits a year, cooling before summer and heating before winter. That is exactly how the Freedom Plan is built. A system that is older, runs constantly or has a history of repairs may need closer attention, so ask the technician.
A tune up does not include duct cleaning, but the Super Tune-Up includes a ductwork inspection. The EPA does not recommend routine duct cleaning on a set schedule, so cleaning should depend on what the inspection finds. If it is needed, we will show you why first.

For many homeowners, yes, because the plan bundles two tune ups a year with a guaranteed 2 hour arrival window, extended parts and labor warranty while a member, and 10 percent off HVAC repairs. Military and first responders also get 20 percent off with proof of service.
